Qualinews – June Edition 2017
The June edition 2017 of the Qualinews celebrates the expansion of PNCQ , the biggest provider of proficiency tests in the country. This edition was released during the 44th Brazilian Congress of Clinical Analyses, in João Pessoa / PB.
We reproduced below the editorial of Doctor Francisco Edison Pacifici Guimarães, Superintendent of PNCQ , that shows some of our achievements during the last year in the biggest Brazilian meeting of professionals of this area.

Dear Congress Participants
Welcome to the 44th Brazilian Congress of Clinical Analyses of SBAC. PNCQ contributing as always to the quality of the Clinical Laboratories in Brazil and in Latin America, provides this year the PNCQ Reference Materials traceable to NIST ( National Institute of Standards and Technology).
The certifications conquered by PNCQ testify our constant search for quality and excellence of the products and services offered to more than 5000 participating laboratories, this number being reached last September.
We expanded our activities to more countries in Latin America and in Europe, we have participated in national and international congresses, always bringing news and updates belonging to the area of our associates. We have received Category A, the highest in the classification of Proficiency Tests Provider of the Institute of Public Health of Chile.
Always concerned about keeping associates updated, we spread new legislations regarding the area, international agreements, we release both in the physical and electronic media several materials in our site and we host courses and speeches in the auditorium of our head office.
The PNCQ MANAGER course keeps on leveraging the Accreditation by the National System of Accreditation SNA – DICQ , mainly after the divulgation of the Quality Factor of ANS. This year the course was held in Manaus, Vitória, Curitiba and João Pessoa and the second semester promises to prepare many more laboratories.
The free tools Trend Graph / DRM and PRO – IN in Real Time were optimized.
We released the Diamond Plus Certificates to the laboratories with 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of participation in the PRO – EX and new performance and quality seals.
We enlarged our product catalogue, which now has more than 60 types of programs for external and internal quality control, to more than 270 analytes, Panels for Reagent Validation and Kits: Specific Panels, Performance Panels and Panels for Evaluations Lot by Lot, besides the PNCQ Reference Materials.
The last 12 months were of much work in order to offer you the best products and services. After all, PNCQ is proud of being a firm with Quality even in its name!
