WHO: THE ANTI-VACCINATION MOVEMENT IS ONE OF THE MAIN THREATS TO HEALTH

The World Health Organization (WHO) publishes annually a list of ten global health threats. Some diseases are repeated year after year and are already common in this list, such as AIDS and dengue. But in this version of 2019, the surprise was the emergence of an organized group, which is not a disease, but a social threat: the anti-vaccination movement.

According to WHO, vaccines prevent between two and three million deaths per year. Vaccination is not a personal decision, it is a social responsibility!

Due to the deplorable actions of movements as mentioned above, WHO points out that controlled diseases around the world are again a threat. A specific example is measles, which increased by 30%.
