Spermogram – Counter Manual and Atlas

With  the  support  of  PNCQ ,  the  book  Spermogram  –  Counter  Manual  and  Atlas, written  by  Doctor  Orildo  dos  Santos  Pereira,  was  developed  for  laboratory  professionals  who  deal  with  the  hard  task  of  performing  this  exam  which  has  an  extreme  importance  in  the  search  of  the  causes  of  masculine  infertility. 

The  Manual  tries  to  bring  information  in  an  objective  way,  enabling  our  professionals  to  have  basic  conditions  to  perform  the  exam  and  to  interpret  the  patient’s  clinical  condition  in  correlation  with  his  reproductive  capacity.  All  the  information is  based  on  the  OMS  Manual  for  human  semen,  on  related  medical  literatures,  on  the  guidelines  of  the  medical  societies  linked  to  the  area  of  human  reproduction  and  urology,  as  well  as  on  the  author’s  counter  experience.

Doctor  Orildo  is  a  Biochemical  Pharmacist,  Specialist  in  Clinical  Cytology  and  Laboratory  Management,  Orildo  dos  Santos  Pereira  is  the  Technical  Director  of  IPD  Laboratory,  Professor  of  the  Pharmacy  Course  of  Unincor  and  Scientific  Consultant  of  PNCQ  in  Clinical  Cytology.
