The use of indicators in the clinical laboratory allows the administrator to know his performance each month, aiming the continuous improvement of his Quality Management System.

From the information  provided by the Participating Laboratories the technician responsible for the laboratory can compare his performance with the other participants, as well as with the aims suggested by PNCQ, allowing the laboratory, to take preventive or improvement measures, before they turn into non-conformities.
